Albert J. Schütz

Albert J. Schütz is Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at UH—Mānoa. He has published Fijian Reference Grammar and directed the Fijian Dictionary Project. He has written about Tongan, Samoan, Māori, Nguna, and Hawaiian languages. In addition to forty books, monographs, and essays dealing with Fijian, he has written thirty works on Hawaiian, including The Voices of Eden, an analysis of the 1822 Hawaiian primer in Palapala and a forthcoming book, Hawaiian: Past, Present, Future.
