Chad Blair is politics and opinion editor for Honolulu Civil Beat, covering how political and policy decisions impact people and communities in Hawaii. Over the pastv 25 years Chad has worked for Pacific Business News, Hawaii Public Radio and Honolulu Weekly. He has taught at UH Manoa, Honolulu Community College, HPU, and Chaminade University of Honolulu. He earned a Ph.D. in American studies from UH Manoa.
