Hālau Hula Ka Noʻeau was founded in 1986, Kumu Hula Michael Pili Pang opened the doors of Hālau Hula Ka Noʻeau in the rural town of Waimea, on Hawaiʻi Island, and relocated the hālau to Honolulu, in 2002. In the past 33 years Kumu Pang has created a legacy of hula practitioners who continue to share the art of hula in Hawaiʻi, Asia and across the United States. The company has been recognized nationally and Internationally for its traditional style of hula and its strong ties to six generations of hula masters.
